Supplier Enrichment (Logos, Fonts, Colours, Images)
Why:
To power branded supplier pages across storefronts, we need to enrich supplier profiles with high-quality visuals and identity data. This makes marketplaces feel more premium, helps shoppers recognize trusted sellers, and supports SEO.
What we're thinking:
Use services like Brandfetch or scrape from the supplier’s domain to auto-pull:
1. Logos (SVG/PNG)
2. Brand colors
3. Fonts (Google Fonts fallback if not available)
4. Favicon or key images from the homepage
5. Display enriched supplier profiles on product pages and on a dedicated Suppliers page.
Bonus Ideas:
1. Optional manual override or upload for missing or mismatched assets.
2. Supplier tags like “fast shipping,” “eco-friendly,” or “indie brand” for filtering.
3. Generate supplier visual assets via midjourney / openai.
Outcome:
More engaging, trustworthy supplier pages with visual consistency across the store. Lays groundwork for a Supplier Room with A–Z browsing and improved discovery.37x Tech
